Well, it looks like the Black Friday has come 2010 early attention bargain hunters for iPad. this holiday season brings good courage if you are looking for a less expensive, but really-pomaceous tablet. Here is the secret sauce of Apple in The Long View ...

As pointed out by Joseph L. Flatley of friends, Aaron and Jared, some T.J. Maxx stores the 16 GB Wi-Fi iPad selling for $ 399:

Aaron ... [the] on a TJ Maxx in Vernon, New York .... We have a couple of phone calls and found a number of shops in Ohio and New Jersey (including who said that they held their stock back for Black Friday)....Would we make a quick call to your local outlet before you go to the Apple Store.

And Eric Slivka has its own deep-throat:

TJ Maxx sister chain Marshalls is apparently also offering the same deal....Different Marshalls stores in Florida ... are said to be retrieved from 100 iPads per day over a period of three days.

Wow.20% discount?Of Apple? the company that famous prices are stuff away on the high end and doesn't allow retailers to discount?
And t.j.maxx and Marshalls? the stores where excess, end-of goods of the line is going to die?
What can this mean? here's a number of theories and quick analysis:
The iPad 2 is imminent.Unlikely; too close to the holiday season, and as Jonny says, "the next-gen Apple tablet will ship in Q1 [2011]."
Apple has a lot and has a backlog in the channel.Meh, possible; but if Jonny and his fanboi friends are to be believed, the iPad is still flying off the shelves as quickly as the Chinese diaphoresic mills of Apple.
It is a loss leader, a publicity stunt.That is more likely. not only does it get people in the shops for Black Friday, but it gets the press talking about it, too.
Of course, would be a cynical, "award-winning" old crazy as I never be taken that a transparent tacti ...

Ah well, publish and be damned, as they say ...
